Marion Subah, a Health System Strengthening public health professional is a registered Nurse Midwife with great passion for quality Reproductive Maternal Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH) that empowers women and children to not only survive but thrive in healthy communities.  She has 40 years of expertise acquired by delivering quality nursing and midwifery services, designing, leading managing programs for strengthening RMNCH at national, community and facility levels; regulatory bodies and professional associations, Human Resources for Health (Pre-service and Inservices Training) community health and development as well as Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation and serving in advisory roles working across the health spectrum, providing technical support in developing and managing the implementation of National Health Policies, Strategies, Quality Improvement (QI) Standards, proposals, procedures and guidelines.  She currently leads and manages the Last Mile Health portfolio in Liberia providing technical assistance and support to the MOH at national and subnational levels, in collaboration and coordination with community health partners/donors and communities in strengthening, upskilling for improved performance and delivering quality services in saving lives and improving health in remote communities.  Through this Marion is leading the development of sustainable policies and guidelines in addition to managing the implementation of interventions for selecting, training, equipping, supervising and incentivizing Community Health Assistants (CHAs) in remote communities in the country with a staff of over 130 persons who serve as teachers and learners and are obsessed with achieving exceptional results.
